How ScoutSity works

ScoutSity is a Nigeria-wide events and ticketing platform, launching from Jos, Plateau. Whether you're heading out for the night or hosting the event yourself, here's the whole thing, start to finish.

For people going out

Finding an event and getting in takes five simple steps.

  1. Discover what's on

Browse events across Nigeria — from Jos and Plateau to Lagos and Abuja. Filter by city, category, date and price to find your night.

  2. Buy your ticket

Pick your ticket tier and pay securely with Paystack. Your ticket becomes a QR code saved in your ScoutSity wallet.

  3. Scan in at the door

Show the QR code on your ticket when you arrive. It's scanned once for entry — no printing, no fuss.

  4. Roll with a squad for money back

Form a squadship — a crew who each buy a ticket to the same event. When the crew fills up, everyone gets a percentage back in their ScoutSity wallet.

  5. Follow the Arena

Tune into ScoutSity's live competitions — talent shows, contests and fan-voting that play out on live scoreboards in real time.

For organisers

Host an event, sell tickets and get paid — anywhere in Nigeria.

  1. Create your event

Set it up in minutes — name, date, venue and details. It works anywhere in Nigeria, and Jos is where we're launching from.

  2. Set your ticket tiers

Add as many ticket types as you like and set the price for each. You decide what your event costs to attend.

  3. Sell and scan

Share your event, sell tickets through Paystack, and scan guests in at the door with the ScoutSity scanner.

  4. Know the fees

ScoutSity charges a 3.5% platform fee. Paystack's processing fee (1.5% + ₦100 on amounts over ₦2,000) is yours to either pass on to the buyer or absorb — your call, per event.

  5. Withdraw your earnings

Your sales land in your ScoutSity wallet as real naira, ready to withdraw straight to your bank account.
